RUAG Australia, Honeywell Agreement For F-35 Wheels And Brakes
RUAG Australia has signed an agreement with Honeywell International to become an MRO authorized service center for the Asia-Pacific Wheels and Brakes program for the F-35. RUAG Australia says the agreement will enhance the company’s capability as the product support provider for F-35 wheels and brakes. 

ADE Plans Additional Hangars
Asia Digital Engineering CEO Mahesh Kumar announced in the company’s second quarter 2022 financial results that it plans to secure more aircraft hangars to support its aviation group and other third-party airlines.

Mas Renews Lufthansa Technik Component Support
Mexican carrier mas, formerly known as MasAir, has signed a comprehensive Total Component Support contract with Lufthansa Technik covering repair and overhaul of components for its Airbus A330F fleet. The contract covers supply for up to eight aircraft over a period of eight years.

Aeroplex Welcomes First Widebody At New Hangar
Aeroplex has accepted its first widebody aircraft for a C check in its new hangar at Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest, which opened in March. Aeroplex says the Airbus A330 freighter is the first Code E category aircraft to be accepted into a maintenance hangar in Hungary.

Avion Engineering Services Becomes Aerovista Engineering
Dubai-based aviation asset manager and lessor Aerovista has rebranded its affiliated engineering firm, Avion Engineering Services, to Aerovista Engineering. It will continue to offer engineering, CAMO and maintenance support from Bulgaria.

HAECO Appoints New CCO
HAECO has appointed MRO veteran Gerald Steinhoff as a chief commercial officer, effective Jan. 1, 2023. Steinhoff, who has been working as a managing director of HÜBNER since 2020, has also previously worked for Lufthansa Technik AG and MTU Aero Engines.

U.S.-Based Parts Specialist Closes $3 Million Financing Round
AeroParts Now has announced that it has closed a $3 million financing round led by String Ventures and Simon Group Holdings. The company aims to use the financing to expand its sales, e-commerce and marketplace enablement software as a service products.

Mammoth Signs PTF Conversion, Maintenance Contract 
Mammoth Freighters has signed a multi-year passenger-to-freighter conversion and maintenance agreement with Aspire MRO related to its Boeing 777 program. Fort-Worth, Texas-based Aspire will provide the services for Mammoth’s 777-200LRMF and 777-300ERMF aircraft.
