Etihad Engineering Component Agreement
Etihad Engineering has signed a component agreement with Touchdown Aviation, under which TDA will provide Etihad Engineering with supply chain solutions locally in Abu Dhabi. Etihad Engineering says the agreement will contribute to its component services growth strategy and facilitate parts availability for global customers.

Air Cairo Picks Airbus Flight Hour Services
Egyptian low-cost carrier Air Cairo has selected Airbus’ Flight Hour Services for its all-Airbus fleet. Under the contract, Airbus will handle component repairs, logistics, component engineering and materials services, including on-site stock at Air Cairo’s main base and outstations.

Hovby Aero Gets Part 145 Approval
The Swedish Transport Agency has granted Part 145 maintenance approval to Hovby Aero for its facilities in Lidkoping, Sweden; Narsarsuag, Greenland; and Reykjavik, Iceland. The revised authorization includes line maintenance on Airbus A320-family, ATR 42 and 72, and Boeing 737 and 757 aircraft.

Digital Parts Platform Partnership
Digital e-procurement service platform SkySelect has partnered with part sales platform AeroParts Now to integrate both platforms, which the companies say will enhance the aircraft parts purchasing process for suppliers.

ILS Expands Digital Parts Tools
Inventory Locator Service (ILS) has released Expanded Pricing Intelligence, including a new web service for suppliers to automatically upload parts pricing transaction data. It has also expanded its Fair Market Value tool by adding confidence levels and improving the algorithm to calculate at the exact part number, condition and description level.

Revima Debuts APU Fuel Saving Solution
Revima has debuted a new APU Fuel Saving solution for its FlightWatching predictive maintenance platform, which it says will provide up to 50% fuel burn reduction on ground. The digital platform monitors APUs in real time to detect overuse and provide recommendations for optimum APU start times.

C&L Aerospace Completes E170 Teardowns
C&L Aerospace has completed the teardown of two Embraer E170 aircraft, which it says is the first of many future teardown projects as it develops its E170 programs and offerings. It is inducting the inventory into its global warehouses.

Flydocs Debuting New Software at MRO Americas
Flydocs plans to debut new Components Management software at MRO Americas. It says the software provides a platform to procure, sell and lease parts while using technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain to provide a digital trace.

Delta Material Services A320 Consignment Agreement
Delta Material Services has signed a consignment agreement for the teardown and part sales of five Airbus A320 aircraft owned by FTAI Aviation.

Landing Gear Repair Acquisition
Spare parts supplier Reliance Aircraft International has acquired Suncoast Landing Systems, a landing gear overhaul and repair business based in Medley, Florida.
