MAZ opts for Air France-KLM for engine MRO deal

Saudi Arabian VIP specialist MAZ Aviation has contracted AFI KLM E&M to carry out maintenance checks on a total of four of its CFM56-5C jet engines.

MAZ Aviation specialises in aviation advisory services for those operating VIP aircraft fleets and has high expectations of the providers of aircraft maintenance services with which it works, in terms of efficiency and speed.
MAZ senior vice president, Mr. Shabbir Pirmohamed, said the Saudi company was delighted "to have signed up with an internationally reputed and acknowledged provider of maintenance services. As a company providing private aviation advisory services, we have every confidence in AFI KLM E&M and its ability to provide timely and top-flight support," he said.
Fabrice Defrance, senior vice president commercial AFI KLM E&M, said: "We are very pleased to embark on this cooperation exercise with MAZ and are looking forward to a long-term relationship."
