IzAir selects Turkish Technik for landing gear overhaul

Turkish Technic has signed a landing gear maintenance services agreement for five A320 family aircraft with Izmir-based IzAir.

Landing gear removal, installation, and overhaul activities will be carried out at Turkish Technic’s Istanbul facilities. The MRO firm also supports IzAir with spare units during shop visits. The work will be complete by June 2013.

IzAir operates a fleet of seven aircraft with an average age of 5.5 years and a seating capacity of more than 1.164 seats. It has been operating for more than six years.
