HAECO Contract Signings
HAECO signed a slew of contracts at MRO Asia-Pacific. One covers three performance restoration shop visits on three Garuda Indonesia Airlines’ GE Aerospace GE90 engines. HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) will perform the work through 2028. This builds on an agreement signed in 2025 for four GE90 performance and one quick turn. HAECO also signed a new landing gear overhaul agreement with All Nippon Airways for Boeing 777-300ER and 777F fleets through 2030. For Nippon Cargo, HAECO renewed its line maintenance services in Hong Kong and Shanghai Pudong airports.
Additionally, HAECO extended its base maintenance agreement with Japan Airlines in Xiamen—which covers Airbus A350 and Boeing 737, 767, 777 and 787 aircraft—through 2033. It also launched a modular replacement service for Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines at its London Heathrow facility
ST Engineering Contract Signings
ST Engineering and Collins Aerospace signed three multi-year component support contracts. The first will authorize ST Engineering to repair Collins’ fan assembly electronic boards on Boeing 787s, which allows airlines another repair versus replace option. The second contract expands the number of narrowbody aircraft components, including for Boeing 737 MAXs, that ST Engineering can repair. The third expands the two companies’ collaboration on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 line replaceable unit (LRU) repairs through Collin’s FlightSense aftermarket support program. ST Engineering says that all three contracts involve LRUs that are scheduled to undergo their first major overhaul after a decade in service.
ST Engineering also signed an agreement with Hebei Airlines to start performing performance restoration shop visits for the airlines’ CFM International CFM56-7B engines that power the airline’s Boeing 737-800 fleet. The work will start this month at ST Engineering’s facility in Xiamen, China.
JAL Renews Embraer E-Jet Pool Agreement
Embraer signed a multi-year agreement to further extend its pool program with Japan Airlines (JAL) for the carrier's fleet of 32 E170 and E190 aircraft. The agreement will provide support for a wide range of repairable components for JAL’s E-Jets fleet and also includes a large volume of component inventory available close to JAL's operations, ensuring access to critical parts and minimizing operational disruptions.
Japan Airlines Expands LHT 787 Component Deal
Japan Airlines renewed its Total Component Support agreement with Lufthansa Technik covering its Boeing 787 fleet. The extended agreement runs for at least five additional years (and through 2036 at max) and covers up to 67 aircraft. It also expands to additional part-number coverage.
LHT Philippines Picks AMOS Software
Lufthansa Technik Philippines signed a deal with Swiss Aviation Software to implement its AMOS maintenance software. The software will support its base maintenance operations in Manila and its expansion into Clark International Airport.
Malaysia Airlines Signs Component Deals
Malaysia Airlines signed a long-term agreement with AFI KM E&M for component support on its Airbus A350 fleet. The deal expands its relationship with AFI KLM E&M, which already included Boeing 737 component support.
The airline also extended its Flight Hour Services program with Airbus for its A330ceo fleet. The long-term power-by-the-hour deal includes integrated component services such as on-site stock, pool access, repair services and component reliability engineering.
Aircalin Preps For A350-900 Deliveries
New Caledonian flag carrier Aircalin signed a Flight Hour Services contract with Airbus covering its future A350-900 fleet. It is scheduled to receive the first of this aircraft type at year-end. The deal includes integrated component services such as on-site stock, pool access and repair services.
GMF AeroAsia Contract Signings
South Korean cargo carrier AirZeta signed a contract with GMF AeroAsia for Boeing 737 heavy maintenance. The contract spans 2027-30. GMF AeroAsia also signed a strategic collaboration with FTAI Aviation to expand its engine and auxiliary power unit (APU) maintenance capacity and capabilities, initially focusing on CFM International CFM56-5B/-7B engines and Honeywell GTCP131-9 series APUs.
GMF also signed a memorandum of understanding to explore maintenance capabilities for VELA’s advanced air mobility aircraft.
China Airlines Picks Liebherr For A350 Nose Landing Gear Overhaul
China Airlines signed a commercial agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace covering overhaul of nose landing gear on its Airbus A350 fleet. Liebherr-Aerospace says the airline is its launch customer in Asia for its A350 nose landing gear overhaul program. The agreement starts this year and will continue through 2031.
Revima’s New China Airlines APU Deal
China Airlines signed a long-term contract with Revima to maintain the Pratt & Whitney APS5000 auxiliary power units on its 24 Boeing 787s. The Taiwan-based carrier’s power-by-the-hour contract also includes unbolted line-replaceable units, digital services for operational efficiency and predictive maintenance.
Safran To Support China Airlines A350-900 Landing Gear
China Airlines signed a new overhaul agreement with Safran Landing Systems covering main landing gears for its fleet of 18 Airbus A350-900s. Safran will provide landing gear maintenance from its Singapore MRO center from 2026-31 under the deal.
AJW To Support Sun PhuQuoc Airways’ New A330s
AJW Group signed a new six-year power-by-the-hour support deal with Vietnamese carrier Sun PhuQuoc Airways that covers its expanding Airbus A330 fleet. The airline will be introducing A330s in phases through 2030, with the first two entering service this month.
Garuda Indonesia Taps SR Technics For CFM56 MRO
Garuda Indonesia signed a contract with SR Technics for CFM International CFM56 maintenance services. SR Technics will provide support from its Zurich engine maintenance facility.
StandardAero, GMR Aero Technic Ink Engine Collaboration
StandardAero signed a Supplier Service Agreement with GMR Aero Technic that initially focuses on providing enhanced on-wing support services to operators in India for narrowbody engine platforms such as the CFM International CFM56-7B, Leap-1A and -1B. GMR says the combination of StandardAero’s engine expertise and its infrastructure and regional presence aims to create a responsive on-wing support network for customers in India.
ReGEN Opens Singapore Component Hub
Dublin-based ReGEN announced it has opened a new components hub at Singapore’s Changi Airfreight Center. It says the facility will stock in-demand, serviceable components to support Airbus A320, A330, Boeing 737 and 777 family aircraft. ReGEN says the location—its third in addition to Europe and North America—strengthens its position in the international used serviceable material market.
Pioneer Taps APACS For Malaysia Logistics Support
Asia Pacific Aircraft Component Services (APACS) signed an agreement to support Chicago-headquartered parts supplier Pioneer Aero Supply’s aerospace logistics and inventory management requirements in Malaysia. Under the partnership, APACS will manage key logistics activities on Pioneer’s behalf from its Shah Alam facility, including support for routine and AOG aircraft part needs.
TransNusa Selects More Skywise Software
Indonesian carrier TransNusa signed a deal to adopt Skywise Core X2 and Skywise Fleet Performance+ software, which Skywise says are its first agreements in Indonesia for those software products. According to Skywise, the software products will enable TransNusa’s Maintenance Control Center team to see aircraft system status, detect anomalies early and identify technical trends to make informed maintenance decisions.
Tigerair Taiwan Adopts Flydocs Records Management Software
Low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan signed a five-year agreement with flydocs to use its Digital Records Management Next Generation software to digitize and streamline records management for its fleet of 17 aircraft.
Leki Aviation Adds New Asia-Pacific Repair Capabilities
Leki Aviation announced that its Leki Tech Part 145 subsidiary is expanding its EME Elektro-Metall repair capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region through a new repair facility in Singapore. The facility will offer EME repair support for Airbus A320 and A350 actuators, as well as other EME products.
Tarmac Aerosave Obtains DGCA Approval For A320s
Tarmac Aerosave announced that it has been granted approval by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the entire Airbus A320 family across all engine types. It will now be able to perform maintenance on Indian-registered aircraft and issue certificates of release to service recognized by DGCA.
