AJA hunts for MRO partner

AJA (Al Jaber Aviation), the Abu Dhabi-based private jet charter and aircraft management company, is planning a 'Jet Centre of Excellence' in establishing an aircraft maintenance organisation (Part 145 AMO) at the UAE capital's Al Bateen Executive Airport in joint venture with an internationally established player.

We have some interest and are looking to identify the partner and get a joint venture in place by the end of the year. It will be a jet centre of excellence for VIP and executive jets and also for airliners of the same type. Ideally the partner will be someone with an established operation from the EU, US or Asia who is looking for a foothold in the GCC.”
