SINGAPORE—Textron Aviation’s Singapore Service Center has attained certification from the U.S. FAA and Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation to provide a wide range of MRO services for Hawker 750, 800XP, 850XP and 900XP business jets.

Textron Aviation confirmed to Aviation Week Network that the facility will be able to perform all levels of scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance. Services include avionics installations and upgrades, structural and composite repairs, component overhauls, OEM warranty repairs, aircraft refurbishments, major modifications and special-mission projects, and maintenance control and planning (CAMO). This means Hawker owners will be able to access factory-direct OEM support from Textron instead of via an authorized service center.

Laying out the market opportunity, Textron said that there are approximately 80 Hawker 750, 800XP, 850XP and 900XP currently in the region.

The Singapore Service Center at the Seletar Aerospace Park opened in 2015. It has acquired certificates from 12 aviation authorities to perform onsite service and support for Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker products, and expects more approvals to follow.
