ITP Aero said that “MRO continued to be a strategic pillar of growth in 2025” as the engine OEM and maintenance provider released its annual results on March 4.
The Spanish aero-engine company reported a 17% increase in revenues in 2025 compared with 2024, while pre-tax profit rose 30% to €321 million ($373 million).
The company attributed the growth to “robust growth” across its commercial engine products, MRO and defense businesses, although commercial aviation remains its key growth driver.
The company manufactures low-pressure turbines for Rolls-Royce Trent engines, and in 2025 supplied its first combustor for the Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan (GTF) program.
ITP described “sustained demand” for new-generation engine products and “continued expansion in MRO activities.”
During the year, ITP entered Pratt’s global network of GTF engine maintenance providers with its Ajalvir facilities in Madrid set to maintain PW1500G and PW1900G engines for the Airbus A220 and Embraer E2 families from 2027.
It also bolstered its capabilities in the current-generation engine market by acquiring CFM56 maintenance shop Aero Norway in late 2025. Serving a customer base that includes airlines, lessors, and asset managers, Aero Norway holds full capability for CFM56-3, -5B and -7B variants with testing capacity up to 40,000 lb. of thrust.
In October, meanwhile, ITP joined GE Aerospace’s European repair service network for the CF34-10 engine, which powers E190 and E195 aircraft.
ITP hopes maintenance activity will account for 20%-25% of total revenues over the next five years as it targets a bigger aftermarket footprint.
The former Rolls-Royce subsidiary was spun off by the British engine manufacturer after being sold for €1.6 billion to a group of investors led by Bain Capital in a deal finalized in late 2022.
