Data Tool: Middle East's Planned Fleet Expansion

A consistent increase in firm aircraft orders is expected from this year through to 2026 as airlines in the Middle East undergo fleet renewal plans. A spike in aircraft retirements isn't expected until the middle of the decade.

Much of the fleet growth will occur through the region's three largest carriers—Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways. However, expect fleet growth from the Middle East's low-cost carriers, as well.
