Mesaba Net Profit Jumps 49 Percent

Minneapolis-based Northwest Airlink affiliate Mesaba Airlines earned a net profit of $5.7 million, or 41 cents per share, in its fiscal second quarter ending Sept. 30, a 48.9% increase from the same 1996 period's $3.86 million, or 30 cents per share.
