McDonnell Douglas isn't pulling any punches against would-be merger partner Boeing in its marketing to airlines. Comparing its MD-95 against the 737- 600, it says the Boeing airplane "carries extra structure, weight as well as capability, which are not really needed for the 100-seat market."
