KLM has placed a $300 million order for two Boeing 747-400 Combi aircraft powered by General Electric engines, the carrier said yesterday. Deliveries are slated for May 1997 and January 1998. The carrier also said it plans to convert two 747-300s Combis to a full freighter configuration.
