Kidde To Supply Fire Protection Systems On Boeing's 7E7

Boeing chose Kidde Technologies as the fire protection supplier on the 7E7. The systems detect and extinguish fires in the engines, auxiliary power system and cargo areas. Boeing plans to use the 7E7's centralized software to control Kidde's fire protection system.
