Juan A. Martinez-Esparza has been appointed assistant NATO secretary general for security investment, logistics and civil emergency planning, and Yves Brodeur head of NATO's press and media service. Brodeur, former director of media relations for Canada's Foreign Affairs Dept., succeeds Jamie Shea.
