Aveo Engineering’s LED lights are available in the form of ultra-thin foils that can be used to color a surface. LED lighting is more expensive to acquire but is much more durable, reliable and efficient.

The secret of a comfortable cabin may hide in the aircraft’s engines and auxiliary power unit (APU). The air management system, such as the one Liebherr Aerospace designs for Dassault Falcons, is in charge of pressurization in particular and uses engine bleed air. Higher air pressure in the cabin--the equivalent of 3,900 ft. at a flying altitude of 41,000 ft. in the Falcon 6X, shown--translates into reduced fatigue. APUs can supply air conditioning on the ground.

At 119 in. in width, the recently unveiled Falcon 10X is setting a new standard for ultra-long range business jet cabins. Moreover, possibly inspired by archrival Gulfstream, Dassault is designing larger windows, thus further increasing the feeling of spaciousness.

High-end business jet cabins, such as here in the interior Safran has designed for the Bombardier Global 7500, tend to be designed like an apartment. What used to be called a galley is now described as a fully equipped kitchen where passengers may want to spend time, having a drink or actually cooking.

Increasingly long flights make meals all the more important for the group on board, who may want to move on to a meeting right after landing. Wider cabins, such as here on the Bombardier Global 7500, provide enough room for a relaxed atmosphere.
