No one said it would be easy.  Japan’s move into defense exports is making little headway. The country is trying, but four years after its self-imposed ban on selling military equipment ended no breakthrough sale has been achieved. The country is progressing in international joint research, however. And at least one joint development program is in the offing; it could result in Japanese factories supplying foreign air forces. The factories are already sending a few parts abroad. ...
