The UAE Mars Mission Hope spacecraft returned its first image of the red planet on Feb. 10 as the early morning sunlight illuminated Olympus Mons, center, the largest volcano in the Solar System. Also pictured are three large shield volcanoes and the cloud-filled canyons of Valles Marineris. The color is a composite of red, green and blue images taken by Hope’s Emirates Exploration Imager camera.
