AVIANCA, Colombia agreed to lease nine LEAP-powered A320neos from BOC Aviation for delivery in 2027 (aircraft were originally ordered by Avianca and positions are being acquired by BOC Aviation via agreement with Airbus).
WIZZ AIR had €213.9m net profit on €5.3b revenues for year ended March 31 vs €365.9m on €5.1b a year ago, citing GTF groundings. It ended year with 231 aircraft (263 planned for next year) and says, as of May 9, it had 37 aircraft on ground as result of GTF-related matters, with roughly another 34 aircraft expected to be grounded by end of September.
