US DOT reports US scheduled pax airlines recorded $225m cumulative net loss in 1Q25 (vs $1.7b loss in 1Q24) on $57.5b operating revenues ($42.6b in fares; $1.6b in baggage fees; $233m in reservation change fees) vs $56b in 1Q24.

Steve Costley is responsible for the overall production SpeedNews. Steve has over 30 years of experience with SpeedNews, now part of the Aviation Week Network. He joined the company in August 1989 as an Associate Editor and was named Managing Editor in 1994.
