MD Aircraft Signs LOI With Makmor For Electric Aircraft
German startup MD Aircraft has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Bengaluru, India-based Makmor for 10 MDA1 eViator nine-passenger electric regional aircraft. MD Aircraft is aiming to begin flight testing of the MDA1 in early 2028, targeting certification and entry into service in 2030.
Seaplane Asia Group, NexAvia Sign MOU
Singapore-based seaplane operation Seaplane Asia Group has signed an MOU with NexAvia, a Singapore and Canada-based aviation consulting company specializing in AAM. The organizations will coordinate efforts to engage with agencies, regulators and industry across Southeast Asia.

LuftCar Tests Air-Ground Docking System
U.S. startup LuftCar, which aims to develop a modular hydrogen-powered air and ground mobility vehicle, has tested its air-ground docking system with flights of a small-scale working model in West Palm Beach, Florida. The docking mechanism allows an aircraft to pick up, carry and set down ground vehicles.

Elevate Jet Adds App For Booking Aircraft Like Rideshares
Elevate Jet has created a new mobile app designed to book a private jet as quickly as a car through a rideshare service business, it says. The service combining artificial intelligence tools with its operations and client services. Through the app, clients can see pricing, select the proper aircraft, see pricing and book, eliminating multiple calls, it says. The app also integrates a 300-point checklist capturing operational requirements and individual traveler preferences, it says.
ExecuJet Haite Earns Approvals For G700
ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services has been approved by the FAA, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority to perform line service and heavy maintenance on the Gulfstream G700 ultra-long-range business jet, it announced. With the multi-authority approval, Execujet Haite’s facilities in Tianjin and Beijing Daxing are authorized to support the aircraft.

Diamond Grows Training Programs
Diamond Aircraft has expanded its authorized training center program with two additions, including AELO Swiss Academy (AFA), based in Locarno, Switzerland, and Atlantic Flight Academy, based in the Republic of Türkiye. The addition strengthens Diamond’s presence in Europe, officials say.
DHL, Lodd To Study Adding eVTOLs Into UAE Network
DHL Express has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lodd Autonomous to study how the Abu Dhabi-based startup’s Hili eVTOL uncrewed cargo aircraft could be integrated into DHL’s delivery network in the United Arab Emirates. The hybrid-electric Hili is designed to carry a 250 kg (550 lb.) payload 700 km.

Blue Skies Aviation Opens Training School
Blue Skies Aviation Solutions in Sri Lanka has launched an Approved Training Organization with a fleet made up of all Tecnam aircraft, including three P-Mentor and one twin-engine P2006T NG aircraft. The pilot training provider will begin operations with an initial intake of 15 student pilots, with a plan for four new students a year. It plans to grow to an annual training capacity of up to 60. It will offer training for a private pilot license, commercial pilot license and visual/instrument flight rules.
Catheter Precision Buys Stake In Fly Flyte
U.S. medical device company Catheter Precision has bought a 20% stake in Fly Flyte, a South Carolina-based Part 135 operator. Fly Flyte’s subsidiary, Ponderosa Air, operates Cirrus Vision Jets on short-haul regional routes on which it plans to introduce eVTOL aircraft once they are certified.

Begaluru-based startup AexoAero has completed multiple uncrewed test flights of its AerGenesis single-seat personal eVTOL aircraft, the first to be developed in India, according to local media reports.
AIR Tashkent, Samson Sky To Bring Switchblade To Central Asia
AIR Tashkent of Uzbekistan and Samson Sky of the U.S. have completed an agreement to bring the Switchblade Flying Car to Uzbekistan in Central Asia. The two will work together to facilitate the sale of 300 or more Switchblade Flying Cars to Uzbekistan in a deal valued at more than $60 million.

Andorra Aviation To Launch Ab Initio Training in Spain
Andorra Aviation Academy, located in Andorra la Vella in the Pyrenees, is launching flight operations with the acquisition of an Elixir aircraft with delivery set for mid-2026. Andorra plans to begin practical flight training operations at Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell Airport in Spain by September 2026. It will use the Elixir for ab initio training and a Cirrus SR20 G7+ for advanced training. Today, 50 Elixir aircraft are in operation with more than 300 on order, Elixir says.
Elevate Launches App To Order Jet Like a Car Service
Elevate Jet has launched a new mobile app, it says will make ordering a private jet as easy as obtaining car service. Clients will select the right aircraft, see pricing, and book in seconds, the company says. The app is powered by a proprietary artificial intelligence agent called Ruby and delivers pricing across six aircraft categories. It analyzes factors such as range, availability, fuel requirements, crew limits and aircraft constraints to select the right aircraft. It then will generate an itinerary in seconds, the company says. The app eliminates the need for calls to a sales representative.

Italian-based Cantor Air, a flight training provider, is adding three new Tecnam P2006T NG twin-engine trainers into its fleet with options for additional units, Tecnam says, a step in Cantor’s fleet modernization strategy. Cantor is based in Valbrembo, Italy.

FlyHouse To Grow Into Brazil with Partnership
FlyHouse, a private jet charter provider, is expanding business into Brazil through a partnership with TAM Aviacao Executiva, a Brazilian business aviation operator, marking a major step in its growth strategy, it says. TAM Aviacao Executiva operates a fleet of six light-to-super-midsize jets and rotorcraft and offers aircraft management, charter, maintenance, training and FBO services. The partnership will integrate Brazilian aircraft and operators into FlyHouse platforms.
