EBACE:Twinjet eyes up the Middle East
UK-based Twinjet is keen to increase its Middle Eastern business said chief executive Keith McMann. And hopes to have an office opening in Al Bateen as soon as the paperwork has been finalised.
“We’ve already selected our staff and our office, we’re just in the process of completing the formalities,” he said at EBACE.
Twinjet caters for the VVIP traveller with a three-strong fleet of aircraft. The smallest of which is a Bombardier Challenger 604, an Embraer Legacy 600 and it’s flagship Airbus ACJ.
The ACJ is fitted with seating for 34 in a presidential configuration with additional seating for the entourage.
Initially the company will offer its charter brokerage services from the Al Bateen office but McMann is keen to sign up more aircraft management customers in the region.
“Most of our customers are in the Middle East and we’re looking to build on this,” he said.
Although the Middle Eastern is not as affected by the financial crisis “growth rates have slowed. The Middle East is not immune, but showing positive signs,” added McMann.
