From The Archives: Intercontinental Business Flying

On the cover is a Dassault/Pan American World Airways Fan Jet F seen using a drag chute while making a maximum performance landing at Teterboro, N.J. The chute generally is used only in emergencies or during icy runway conditions. Shortfield capabilities of corporate turbojet aircraft such as the Falcon F are contributing to increased use of U.S. company-owened aircraft for travel abroad.
