From The Archives: Full Scale Mockup Of Williams International V-Jet Concept

This photograph that made the front cover of the Sept.  23, 1985 issue of Aviation Week & Space Technology.

It is a full scale mockup of the Williams International V-Jet twin-engine business aircraft concept and was used on the cover to promote a special report on business flying.

It was a future concept  for a future line of aircraft using composites in construction. Named the V-Jet to reflect the forward-swept wings, would be powered by two Williams International FJ44 fanjet engines.
