From The Archives: Flying The Galaxy

Galaxy Aerospace's business jet demonstrator flies past the Golden Gate Bridge near San Francisco. The Galay received FAA certification in December 1998, and four of the 8-18 passenger aircraft are in operation.

The Galay is built by Israel Aircraft Industries and completed at Galaxy Aerospace's new facility. Read the pilot report on see page 48.  

The $18 million aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306A turbofan engines.
