From The Archives: Flight Testing Underway For Phenom 300

Embraer's Phenom 300 light jet made its maiden flight last week (April 29, 2008), about nine months after its sibling the Phenom 100. Read the article we published on May 5, 2008 about the first flight out of the manufacturer's Giviao Piexoto test facility in Brazil. 

The flight lasted about an hour and the aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW535E engines.
