From The Archives: Embraer EMB-120 Flies At Paris

First delivery of the first Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia, shown on the cover on takeoff during a flight demonstration at the Paris Air Show 1985, is scheduled for the second half of July.
The company has 156 orders and options for the 30-seat aircraft, which was also on static display at the show. Twelve are to be produced by the end of the year. And production will increase to four per month in 1986. Brazilian certification was received May, 16. Brasilia is equipped with two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT7A-1 turboprop engines.
