From The Archives: Dubai Airshow 2009 - Middle East Bizjet Potential

We published a feature about the Middle East's long-term bizjet potential in the Nov. 23, 2009 issue of Aviation Week & Space Technology. 

The United Arab Emirates wants to develop an indigenous business jet as part of an effort to leverage the region's growing appetite for executive aviation products and services. The initiative would help to diversify its economy. 

Find out more about the Mubadala Development, the investment arm of Abu Dhabi's government. It had ambitions for the business jet to reach the market by 2018.
