From The Archives: Dassault's New Trijet To Be First Of A Family

By 2002 Dassault already had commitments for 40 of its Falcon 7X trijet, the first of which was estimated to be delivered in 2006. In this issue, our writer Pierre Sparaco described the trijet as a "forerunner to a rejuvenated product range". 

We reported how the manufacturer has a longtime military driven technology had inspired the new Falcon concept, and that it would have fly-by-wire flight controls a "next generation" super critical wing and area-rule fuselage. 

Honeywell and Dassault jointly developed the EASy flight deck which was tested on a modified Falcon 900EX trijet.
