From The Archives: Dassault-Breguet Falcon 50

April 25 1977

Protoype Dassault-Breguet Falcon 50 long-range business jet overflies southeastern France during recent test flights from its flight test center at Istres.

The aircraft is powered by three 3,700 lb. thrust Garrett TFE 731-3 turbofans and will have a range of about 3,600 stat. mi. with six passengers. 

First of three preproduction aircraft was expected to fly later in the year (1977).
