From The Archives: Business Aviation Powers Up
The cover of the May 16, 2005 features a Dassault Falcon 7X flying over water after taking off from the company's airfield in Bordeaux, France.
The aircraft performed its first flight on May 5, which lasted 96 min.
The test program for the 7X ultra-long range business jet will include three aircraft to achieve aircraft certification in October 2006.
It is the first business jet with a fly-by-wire system and includes a new wing around which Dassault expects to build an entirely new family of business jets
