From The Archives: Airbus To Display Corporate Jet

A French firm that took delivery of the first Airbus Corporate Jet, Aero Services Executive, and planned to fly the aircraft non-stop from Paris Le Bourget to New Orleans for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) show Sep. 18-20, 2001.

We reported, ahead of the show, how the aircraft cabin had been configured to carry 29 passengers and features a lounge area. 

Airbus would additionally exhibit a cabin mock up at the convention center in New Orleans. Read on to find out about the engines powering the aircraft plus the latest on orders and deliveries so far in the magazine.
