Of the 14,999 business jets based in the U.S., about a third, 4,876, are based in Texas, Florida and California, according to Airbus Corporate Jets. Of the1,548 long-range, ultra-long-range and bizliners based in the U.S., California has the largest number with 258.
At the same time, about 5.4% of the U.S. business jet fleet is currently for sale, with 815 aircraft on the market. In the long-range, ultra-long-range business jet and bizliner categories, 85 aircraft are on the market, or 5.5% of the fleet, according to Airbus Corporate Jets.
