September Jet-A Prices Decline From Prior Month

The September national average for a gallon of Jet-A totaled $7.57, down 4 cents from August figures but up $2.02 per gallon compared to a year ago, according to a survey of more than 200 fixed base operators by the Aviation Research Group. The largest decline took place in the New England Region where prices were down 16 cents from August figures, while the largest increase was in the Western Pacific Region with a 6 cent price increase. At $8.12 per gallon, the Eastern region remains the most expensive region in the U.S.
