July 2026 Jet-A and Avgas Fuel Price Trends
For the second month in a row, the average price for a gallon of Jet-A dropped in the U.S. It averaged $7.61 in July, which is $0.57 less than in June.
This decrease occurred in all eight FAA regions.
Regional differences, however, exist. The cost of Jet-A fuel remained the most expensive in the Western Pacific region, where it averaged $8.43 per gallon. This compares to $6.80 per gallon in the Central region.
The average price of avgas, at $8.13 per gallon, is higher than Jet-A.
The Western Pacific region also logged the highest price--$8.66 per gallon—and the Central the lowest--$7.39 per gallon—in July.

This data comes from a survey of more than 200 FBOs conducted by the Aviation Research Group and analyzed by Argus.
