U.S. Jet-A Fuel Costs Rise In May 2026

The price of a gallon of Jet-A fuel averaged $8.57 in May 2026, up $2.09 when compared to a year ago but down 6 cents per gallon from April, according to a survey of U.S. FBOs by the Aviation Research Group.
Prices are full retail and include all taxes and fees.
The largest monthly price increase was in the Western Pacific region, with Jet-A fuel up 39 cents per gallon compared to April figures, while the largest decrease was in the Great Lakes region, with prices down 47 cents per gallon from a month ago.
