In years past, rain has visited the regional forum at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, a New York City suburb, but not this year. Bright sun and blue skies prevailed over the 23-aircraft static display.

Business aviation is ‘moving fast with a sense of urgency’ to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen, who gave the opening address at the forum.

Skytech, a Piper-authorized dealer and service center, exhibited this new Piper M700 Fury. Entering service this year, the new-generation Piper M-Class turboprop is powered by a 700-shp P&WC PT6A-52 engine.
 

Aircraft float manufacturer Wipaire flew this Cessna 208B Grand Caravan fitted with Wipline 8750 amphibious floats to HPN from Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport in Connecticut.

Dassault Falcon Jet exhibited the Falcon 900 Response aircraft, one of two such jets the manufacturer uses to transport the people and parts needed to return grounded Falcons to service as quickly as possible.

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics supplies a Standby Attitude Module for the Kodiak 100 single-engine turboprop. Mid-Continent Chief Pilot Ryan Reid calls this one his ‘office in the sky.’

Helicopter charter and executive transport company HeliFlite, which serves destinations in the Northeast and South Florida, exhibited this eight-passenger Sikorsky S-76C. Flexjet also exhibited an S-76.

Finding an empty seat at lunchtime is not guaranteed at the White Plains Regional Forum. The exhibit space was sold out for this year’s event, held in a Million Air hangar facility at HPN.

Epic Aircraft of Bend, Oregon, announced in July 2021 that it had received FAA type certification of its E1000 GX all-carbon, single-engine turboprop, featuring Garmin G1000 NXi avionics.
