DUBAI—Gulfstream is showcasing its record-breaking G800 on static display at Dubai Airshow 2025, standing wing-by-wing with the popular G700 for the first time outside of the U.S. Under the headline “eight for eight,” the company announced that its newly certified ultra-long-range aircraft has achieved its eighth city-pair speed record en route to the show.
Mike Swift, leading Gulfstream's international sales in EMEA & APAC, says: “We have orders in hand for the G700 and the G800 in the region. The Middle East has become so dynamic, we see demand right across our product platform. The high-speed and long-range capability offers a benefit for geopolitical routing that has taken place in the last few years. It allows you to fly further, faster, so it gives customers quick routes from the Middle East to almost anywhere in the world.”
The company has 14 G700s in service in the Middle East, with three G800s delivered and further orders on the books.
“The Middle East has been strong for us for quite a while,” Swift adds. “It is a relatively stable region when it comes to aerospace and Gulfstream has been in the region for more than 60 years. We expect our market share to continue to grow. We have seen a number of people pivot from the larger airliner type aircraft to the Gulfstream G700.”
