CEO Speaks At Debut

New Engine Variant

The Falcon 6X is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada (PW&C) PW812D turbofan engines, designed to produce 13,000-14,000 lb. maximum takeoff thrust. The new variant shares common core technology with PurePower PW800-series geared turbofan engines.

Enhanced Vision

Elbit Systems multispectral camera mounted on the Falcon 6X nose. The 6X will come standard with the FalconEye combined vision system, which blends synthetic imagery from a terrain database with thermal and low-light camera imagery on the pilot’s head-up display.

Pilots Take Over

Dassault test pilots Fabrice Valette and Bruno Ferry ascended airstairs into the first Falcon 6X.

Largest Cabin

Scheduled to enter service in 2022, the Falcon 6X will have the largest passenger cabin in its class, a 5,500 nm (10,186 km) range and top speed of Mach .90. It will accommodate 12-16 passengers.

The COVID-19 pandemic prevented Dassault Aviation from hosting a traditional roll-out ceremony for its ultra-wide body Falcon 6X business jet. Instead, the company on Dec. 8 staged a “virtual” unveiling from its final assembly facility in Merignac, France.
