Dassault Aviation unveiled its newest business jet, the Dassault Falcon 10X, on May 6. The high-speed, ultra-long-range aircraft will have a 7,500 nm range, a cruise speed of Mach 0.85 and top speed of Mach 0.925. It will fly nonstop from New York to Shanghai, Los Angeles to Sydney, or Hong Kong to New York. Entry-into-service is planned for late 2025. Credit: Dassault Aviation

Cabin Comfort
With the aircraft's ability to fly nonstop for 15 hours or more, physical comfort is key, said Agnes Gervais, Dassault Aviation industrial design manager. The four-zone cabin measures 9 ft. 1 in. wide by 6 ft. 8 in. high, which means passengers will not feel cramped or crowded, Gervais said. They will experience 3,000 ft. pressure altitude in the cabin while flying at 41,000 ft., to reduce fatigure. A next-generation filtration system will provide 100% pure cabin air. Pearl 10X Engines
The Falcon 10X will be powered by Pearl 10X engines in development by Rolls-Royce. The engines will deliver more than 18,000 lb. of thrust, and with a look toward the future, will operate on 100% unblended sustainable aviation fuel. Rolls-Royce has achieved more than 1,000 test cycles and more than 500 testing hours on the engine to date, said Dirk Geisinger, Rolls-Royce Deutschland CEO and chair of business aviation. Falcon 10X Flight Deck
Dassault Aviation designed the flight deck to reduce workload and fatigue and increase crew situational awareness, the company says. It will include touch screens throughout the cockpit, a digital flight control system taken from Dassault’s military technology, a smart throttle to serve as the primary power control and head-up displays, which will also serve as primary flight displays. A Four-Zone Cabin
Buyers may choose a standard four-zone cabin configuration with lounge or customize the aircraft in several ways. They may include an expanded dining and conference area, a dedicated entertainment area, a private stateroom with a queen-size bed or an enlarged master suite with stand-up shower. Dassault Aviation has launched the Dassault Falcon 10X, a high-speed, 7,500 nm range business jet. The clean-sheet aircraft will compete directly with Bombardier’s Global 7500 and Gulfstream’s G700. It will be powered by twin Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X turbofans, the largest and most powerful of the company’s series of Pearl-engines. Entry-into-service of the $75 million jet is expected at the end of 2025.
