The Blackhawk Group (TBG), an aftermarket light turbine aircraft services provider, opened its newest Blackhawk Performance Center at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC) in Broomfield, Colorado.

The new location is the latest addition to TBG’s network of AVEX and Blackhawk service facilities, which now operate as “Performance Centers,” according to the company. These locations offer upgrades to aircraft engines, propellers and avionics, as well as aircraft modifications and maintenance.

The new facility is located next to the AVEX Performance Center, which provides a wide array of services for Daher TBM owners. The KBJC will be led by sales manager Beau Hawkins, who previously served as senior sales manager for Western Aircraft.

“We have a proven track record with the Blackhawk Performance Center in Columbia, Missouri, and we are excited to expand those capabilities to another location to reach even more customers,” Hawkins says.

The facility features over 20,000 ft.2 and will be home to mechanics and technicians to support a “significant influx of new customers into the airport and surrounding area,” according to TBG.
