The U.S. Navy is developing an On-Demand Hypoxia Trainer (ODHT) to provide awareness of the condition and is garnering pilot feedback on how to make improvements before it enters the fleet in 2021. Hypoxia is a condition in which the body is not receiving adequate oxygen and can adversely affect aircrew if they not trained to recognize the ailment.
