Eurocontrol and airport operators have found a way to improve collaboration in the future among airports, air navigation service providers and airlines at more than 40 airfields. Eurocontrol and Airports Council International-Europe signed a wide-ranging cooperative agreement in Berlin Oct. 28 with hopes of easing congestion and reducing fuel burn and emissions. A new Eurocontrol study says nearly 20 European airports will be fully saturated by 2030.
