Working closely with NASA, Boeing is set to begin fabrication of key structural elements of the X-66 transonic truss-braced wing demonstrator. If flight tests starting in late 2028 are successful, the program could form the basis for a follow-on new product family targeting a Boeing 737 replacement for the 2030s.
