Trained as a business reporter, Kaleyesus has accumulated a twenty years of experience in the local and international media.
He began his journalism carrier at the Addis Fortune business newspaper and later worked at Ethiopian Reporter for 18 years. As a freelance correspondent he has written articles for several international publications including African Business, Airline Fleet and Network Management, World Air News, African Aerospace Magazine and Aviation International News (AIN).
Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Kaleyesus has been serving African Aerospace magazine as correspondent since 2013. He also actively participated in the Aviation Africa conferences organised by Times Aerospace Group.
The East African nation, Ethiopia, has been successfully running the largest airline in Africa-Ethiopian Airlines. The national carrier in recent years has transformed into an aviation group comprising eight profit centers with an annual income of six billion US dollars.
