Trained as a business reporter, Kaleyesus has accumulated a twenty years of experience in the local and international media.
He began his journalism carrier at the Addis Fortune business newspaper and later worked at Ethiopian Reporter for 18 years. As a freelance correspondent he has written articles for several international publications including African Business, Airline Fleet and Network Management, World Air News, African Aerospace Magazine and Aviation International News (AIN).
Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Kaleyesus has been serving African Aerospace magazine as correspondent since 2013. He also actively participated in the Aviation Africa conferences organised by Times Aerospace Group.
The top air cargo service provider in Africa, Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services, is building Africa’s largest e-commerce hub at a cost of $50 million at its facility in Addis Ababa.
Ethiopian Airports has been undertaking a massive expansion at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport since 2014. Now, work on the third and final phase of the project is near completion.
