Trained as a business reporter, Kaleyesus has accumulated a twenty years of experience in the local and international media.
He began his journalism carrier at the Addis Fortune business newspaper and later worked at Ethiopian Reporter for 18 years. As a freelance correspondent he has written articles for several international publications including African Business, Airline Fleet and Network Management, World Air News, African Aerospace Magazine and Aviation International News (AIN).
Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Kaleyesus has been serving African Aerospace magazine as correspondent since 2013. He also actively participated in the Aviation Africa conferences organised by Times Aerospace Group.
The Dubai-based company, Aviation Services Management (ASM), is set to open a new office in Saudi Arabia, enabling it to expand its aviation services in the Middle East. The company is also spreading its wings to Africa.
The Ethiopian Aviation University was established as a small aviation training centre in 1956 in the premise of the headquarters of Ethiopian Airlines in Addis Ababa.
