Before joining Aviation Week in 2006 he was a macroeconomics, politics and aerospace journalist with Reuters. Perrett holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Macquarie University, Sydney. He left Aviation Week in 2020.
The new airport serving China’s capital will be called Beijing Daxing International Airport, following the country’s usual geographic naming convention.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced Beijing’s new airport will be called Beijing Daxing International Airport, confirming it will open Sept. 30, 2019.
