より一層の減便が相次ぐ、アジア太平洋地域の航空会社

周辺国の渡航規制が厳格化していく中、アジア太平洋地域の航空会社はさらなる減便を余儀なくされている。

ヴァージン・オーストラリア航空

3月30日から6月14日にかけて、全ての国際線を一時運休し、国内線は50％の減便。3月29日までは「国際線減便」体制を取り、国外に住むオーストラリア人の帰国を支援する。

ジェットスター・アジア航空

シンガポールを拠点とするLCC、ジェットスター・アジア航空は、3月23日から少なくとも4月15日までは全ての運航を停止する。

日本航空（JAL）

3月20日から28日まで、国際線は定期スケジュールの55％程度で運航し、国内線は約19％の減便。これは同社の57路線中、43路線が一時運休または減便の影響を受けることを意味する。

アシアナ航空

韓国の航空会社であるアシアナ航空は、国際線の運航をコロナウィルスの影響が出る前の3分の2程度に削減する。2019年12月に同社は国際線75路線を運航していたが、今では24路線となっている。国内線についても、同期間で11路線から6路線に削減された。

Airlines in the Asia-Pacific region are making deeper capacity cuts and grounding more aircraft in response to tighter travel restrictions.

Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia is temporarily ceasing all international services and reducing domestic capacity by 50%, with changes effective from Mar. 30-Jun. 14. The airline said it will operate a “reduced international network” until Mar. 29 to help Australians return home from overseas.

Jetstar Asia

Singapore-based LCC Jetstar Asia has announced it will temporarily suspend all operations from Mar. 23 through at least Apr. 15.

Japan Airlines

For the period Mar. 20-28, Japan Airlines (JAL) will operate about 55% of its previously scheduled international services. Domestic flights will be reduced by 19%. The changes mean 43 of the carrier’s 57 routes have been affected by either suspension or frequency reductions. 

Asiana

Korean carrier Asiana has cut its international network by two-thirds from its pre-COVID-19 levels. The airline now operates 24 international routes, compared to 75 in December 2019. It has reduced domestic routes from 11 to six over the same period.
