American has ordered three additional 146-seat Boeing 737-800s

American has ordered three additional 146-seat Boeing 737-800s as replacements for three aircraft from the Reno Air fleet that will not be integrated into American's fleet. The new jets are to be delivered next year and are in addition to previous American orders for 100 "Next Generation" 737s.
