Poll: Do You Expect An 11-Week Shut Down Of Operations Will Be The Norm For The COVID-19 Crisis?

Flights from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport will resume on Apr. 8 as China’s transport links with Hubei, the province where COVID-19 originated, are restored, airline flight scheduling shows.

China Southern has the largest business in Hubei—or did before its airports were closed. Wuhan Tianhe closed on Jan. 23 followed by the other provincial airports in the following days.

Hubei Airports Group issued an order on Mar. 8 to bring staff back to work to prepare for reopening.

People in Hubei are not yet permitted to enter Beijing.  The pandemic is under control across the country, with very few new local infections reported.
